Play Area

The Play Area was completely rebuilt in 2015 with financial assistance from a wide range of benefactors.  There are 9 pieces of play equipment including swings, slides, climbing frames and a wendy house. There are benches and a shaded area for picnics.

Dogs are not allowed in the Play Area.

Tennis Courts

Bredfield and District Tennis Club built 2 tarmac surfaced tennis courts in the 1980s.  The Club became suspended in 2017 and handed the management of the courts to the Village Hall Committee.

The courts are available for hire for a fee of £30 for a household for the use of one court for a year.  The Hall Treasurer maintains a list of court users and collects fees in April each year.  Please use the Contact Us page if you would like to add your name to the list.  Alternatively courts can be hired at £5 per court per hour; payment is made by leaving money in a payment envelope at the Village Shop.  Outside shop hours (Mon-Sat 9.30 to 12.30) put the envelope through the shop’s letter box.  Details and envelopes are on the notice board beside the courts.

There are no bookings so please co-operate with other court users!  Priority is given to previous members of the Tennis Club on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons for the use of 1 court.
